Find out about the Rangers and Outpost 209 right here.
We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

2620 Colusa Highway, Yuba City, CA.
All boys are invited to join us. Each age group has it's own meeting. See the group descriptions below.

Our mission is to "Reach, Teach and Keep Boys for Christ" and the Royal Rangers national leadership has worked very hard to update the ministry to broaden its appeal, while keeping the aspects that have made the program a success.

  • The results have tremendous benefits for the boys, leaders, church and community.
  • Advancement structure friendly to boys, visitors, leaders and parents.
  • Age-appropriate achievement badges and merit awards.
  • Complete weekly planning guides.
  • Quarterly awards and recognition ceremonies.
  • Boys' Handbooks and Workbooks
  • Comprehensive Leaders' Merit Awards resource books

Boys in this age group participate in great fun and excitement that will allow boys to develop their interests and needs as well as mold their character.

Discovery Rangers

(3rd, 4th - 5th grades)

A fun and exciting program for boys in third, fourth, and fifth grade. Not only does the boy get to discover great indoor and outdoor activities, he will get to make many new friends. Being a Discovery Ranger is another step toward growing into a man of God.

Adventure Rangers

(6th through 8th grades)

Adventurers from the past include men like Christopher Columbus, who sailed west into uncharted waters to get to India and discovered the American continents; Nicolaus Copernicus, who developed a new theory about the arrangement of our universe; and Jedidiah Strong Smith, who explored the wilds of America's western frontier. These are men who inspire us all to probe and expand our horizons.
